Can I create multiple takes for a track in Mixcraft?

Hey Ianpb, thanks for the suggestion.

Say I'm recording a vocal track for a singer and I would like him to sing the track several times or 'takes'. I can then use the best one or maybe comp parts of different takes to build one perfect vocal track. A lot of other DAWs provide this capability. Certainly you could just create a new track each time, but having the ability to create multiple takes for a track simplifies the process.

Does this make sense?

It does, however Mixcraft doesn't have a take recording feature yet.
You can create a copy of your project to import parts you want to do takes over, loop the section as many times as you need and record your takes onto another track to re-import once you're done.

Hi.
How about recording each take on different Track. i.e. Take 1 = Track 1. Then mute track 1 to record Take 2 on Track 2, etc... I sometime do this and it works. Listen to each track buy muting the others or soloing the one you want to listen to. And Choose the best one. You can delete the unused ones.
How do you find it?
