I like to convert all of my songs to 128 kb/s joint stereo, 44100 Hz mp3, however, with Audio Converter Pro, sometimes they convert to odd bitrate and sample rates. It'll show up as 128 kb/s, 44100 Hz in the file properties, but if you use a third party program such as a ptp program or normalizer to read the properties, then it'll show up as an odd bitrate and sample rate.
For example, I'll convert a song that's 192 kb/s to my "tape quality" setting, and it'll end up as 24 kb/s, 48000 Hz. It'll say that it converted normally on the Windows file properties, but on the normalizer program, it'll say otherwise. I never had this problem with MP3 to Wave Converter Plus (one of the 2003 versions, I believe). This is a very annoying problem as it causes more work on my part.
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
