Performance Panel Feature Request: ability to record in cell

Love the new Performance Panel in Mixcraft 7. Would love the ability to record directly into a Performance Panel Set's cell. It's great to be able to drag existing clips into cells, but it would be extremely nice to be able to make a cell "recordable" and then click on that cells "record" glyph then be able to record the respective "clip" (either audio or MIDI, depending on the track definition).

When recording into a cell, it would be nice if the corresponding Set's cells would playback from the start.

The current work-around to get newly composed material into a cell seems to be 1) arm the track, 2) press record (R) and then (quickly) 3) trigger the relevant Set's playback (before the record count-off ends) so one can monitor the playback context, then 4) drag the newly recorded clip from the main track view to the Set's cell and trim as needed.

This feature request is fairly analogous to Ableton Live's Session view, which has a way to record directly into the grid's cell.
