FOLDERS!!!!
I'm creating some fairly extensive templates, so having folders that I could add to group tracks to would be great! They don't need to be able to control anything, just a place that could be minimized when not in use to clean up the track view window.

Hi,notnotant wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 2:46 pm I know Mixcraft provides markers to adjust tempo and time signature however it felt a little clunky to use. With the tempo track editor I can very easily use the drawing tool to mark out the points on the bars where I want to change, and if needs be, insert a different time signature at the top of the graph. This is great for songs which are constantly changing BPM and time signatures.
All the best,
Ant
Do you know about tempo automation on the master track in Mixcraft 9? Check out this video:

Yes it is different. Subgroups or submix, the option I think you are referring to, creates an actual output channel with eq, fx, etc.freightgod wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 8:38 amPlease elaborate. Is this different from subgroups? thank youbsheen74 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 6:07 am FOLDERS!!!!

A folder is just simply that. Its only in the track view window where all of the clips are. So for example if you want to create a template that has multiple brass articulations or instruments, they can be put into one folder that can be minimized. Therefore, if you've got 30 or 40 tracks you don't have to scroll down through all of them to work on others.

I know I've asked before but, Santa didn't bring it last time... so may as well try again....
I'd love to have the Midi routing from plugins like Cthultu,Scaler and Instachord et al, to other virtual instruments on different tracks
Also ... some small flashing lights on muted tracks would be handy... there's always one pesky track I forget is still muted.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
1 major and 1 minor.
The major- Need to be able to consolidate the lanes in a multiout VSTi. If I added a 3 or 4 multiout VSTi with 20 lanes each, I'm scrolling for days.
This could be done with a "folders" approach that I've mentioned before.
And the minor- Putting dashes on both sides of the faders in the mixer would look pretty sweet!

Yes, anything that saves time and doesn't interfere with another function should always be done.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Consolidate the lanes for a multi-out VSTis in a way other than collapsing them with the little minus sign like you can do right now?
You can also just choose not to have them if you don't need them, or not to have so many if you're only using some.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Different scenario, I'm talking about the the midi lanes that you can add to a VSTi. Not the the audio channels for that VSTi. When I add up to 8 midi lanes for Omnisphere, I see no way of collapsing the lanes so if you are not working on them you don't need to see them.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 9:35 am Consolidate the lanes for a multi-out VSTis in a way other than collapsing them with the little minus sign like you can do right now?
