Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
With Mixcraft 8, if you hold down the Ctrl and click on Mute or Solo, it will automatically un-mute or un-solo all other tracks.sjoens wrote:GLOBAL MUTE/SOLO BUTTONS

Any PDF printer will save locally and the WIndows 10 print to pdf is actually quite good.
If there is no other printer installed then set Print to PDF as the default printer.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Doh! Although I'm not really a loop guy I just realised loops can be put in lanes therefore building a multitrack loop sequence into a single track. But, editing volume or other stuff on an individual loop means fiddling with the automation line (the blue thingy) so methinks a grab handle on the automation line to drag the volume (or other) in its entirety would be a good idea. Unless it can be done and I missed the bus.
Not seen any vids regarding lanes in loops etc.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
What is the advantage of this compared to putting loops on separate tracks, where they can have separate effects, aux sends, etc.?mick wrote:Doh! Although I'm not really a loop guy I just realised loops can be put in lanes therefore building a multitrack loop sequence into a single track. ...
Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
You can edit each loop within its lane then collapse the lanes, thus having 1 track and not multiple ones. So, space saving I guess, especially for laptop users. Its just a thought I threw into the hat.
EDIT: Sorry, Just realised you cannot add FX to lanes.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Sorry I missed this - how about Mixcraft cloud for joint collaboration like ProTools offers?
a dark place...alone... but never alone enough...

So any suggestions here used will apply to v8 updates?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hello,
Please can you say, why although Mixcraft is a dream of a DAW to use in its simplicity, you haven't yet added a chord facility to it, as Band in a Box, Cubase and probably others have done?
I love Mixcraft, but am lousy with chords.
This is slightly frustrating to me as I may be forced to go to a competitor, even though your organisation is a very good one and your product brilliant in every other way. Especially including Melodyne, great idea.
PS if you can give me a inexensive way around this, I am sure to purchase your pro product.
Best wishes,
Mark

We're not going to be adding new features to Mixcraft 8. We're just fixing problems at this point.sjoens wrote:So any suggestions here used will apply to v8 updates?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
A chord making facility please.
I think Mixcraft is great, but that would make It perfect.
I have used this facility in Cubase and Band in a Box,
(sorry repeated message generated in error).

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
My Mixcraft suggestions. Let me know, if any of them is somehow already possible.
1. If Selection is made, make the 'use selection' box ticked as default, or make it possible to set it that way
2. 'Don't show this message again' box, at 'You have unsaved changes' reminder (when exporting rather than closing)
3. Possibility of making longer track with selection, same way as you export it shorter
4. Saving one track as some MC file with all midi data, effects, settings etc. and then 'open saved track' or +Track -> Saved track
5. 'Mix down to new audio track' for the whole Sub-mix track
6. Loop on/off not triggering the star-reminder next to the project's name
