Hello all,
I'm just wondering if you can open/edit project files from Mixcraft 5, once you have upgraded to Pro Studio 6. I haven't done it yet, and I have tons of goodies in my Mixcraft 5 files. Is this at all possible or am I going to lose them when I upgrade?
Thanks,
Dalton

I started with v6, so can't speak from experience... but this has been asked here many times and the answer from the Mixcraft folks has always been "Yes, v5 files import just fine".
That said, some users have reported various issues, but who knows if these were system-specific, user-error, or something else....? Also, meanwhile, there have been a few program updates released, so it's anyone guess if these particular "gremlins" have been taken care of.
I suppose the best thing to do is to test MC6 yourself by downloading and installing the MC6 demo (It's the latest build and same as Pro Studio, just lacks the extra plugs and loop content).
Good luck!

Hi,
Yes, it should work fine. Give it a try and let us know if you run into any problems.
