Mixcraft Pro studio 6.1 errors

Post by robtss »

When I start Mixcraft pro studio 6.1 I get the error message this program cant start because roxippEMC14.dll is missing from your computer . Which I have to click through on OK about 8 times to clear . Then it comes up with another error that a plugin was not detected and to please install this plugin again from the original CD. The plugin is Model E which I had taken off of my computer . Is there a way for me to get right into Mixcraft again without a fresh install of the program. Thanks for your help guys

Hi,

That error indicates that Mixcraft has come across some non-VST DLL files in its search for plugins. Mixcraft will try to load any DLL file it can find as a VST plugin. Go into your Plug-Ins preferences and make sure that you're only searching actual VST folders.

If that's not the problem, you may have installed some components of a program or a plugin into your VST folder. Uninstall or remove anything that isn't a plugin from those folders.

Also, some complex plugins consist of both VST and non-VST components (EZDrummer is one example). In that case, uninstall the plugin and then install it again, making sure not to enter the same pathname for both the the VST and non-VST parts of the plugin.
