Just wondering what specs your computers are running MC with. I'm going from mac to PC and don't want to spend a lot. Considering desktop i7 4770 with 8-16 GB ram and solid state 256k drive. Can pick one up under 500 dollars. Is this sufficient? Thank in advance

Hi,
The only other thing would be to have a low-latency audio interface, like a 2nd. gen. Focusrite 2i2 or something similar.

Yes, but get the one with 16GB ram... and as Greg said, get a good audio interface too (I have a 2nd Gen Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and it works great).

Also a second hard drive to record to, separate from the OS drive. A third hard drive if you have virtual instrument sound samples. I use 3, see below.
