Does anyone know of a freebie similar to Scaler. If not, what others are there out there besides Scaler?
Thanks,
FSF

Not really up my alley but Band in a Box is similar to this in a way, so is Guitar Pro to a lesser extent. There are other notation and composing software out there and it really depends on what you're trying to do. A lot offer free trials and there's tons of info out there, keep in mind that most aren't free.

To the OP,
As RollingEstonian has said, it does depend on what you want to do.
One thing you could do is have a look at https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... -Tonespace
You might find Tonespace useful and it is free.

Re: scaler
I own Scaler and honestly I haven't found anything easier and more comprehensive to use. V2.0 is supposed to be released this year and will have tons more features. It's a solid investment and has started many a song for me.
