Hi all, I know I'm flogging the proverbial horse here as this has come up many times before, however just checking on the latest version - can we route the metronome to a send or a track so it can be heard (IE in phones) yet?
I am using the work-around of a midi track wood block "click", which works, however any way for me to be lazier and get it from the jump would be great!
MX Pro Studio 9 64 bit -B460
Thanks!
Mike

Hi Mike
You can turn on the metronome for count-in, playback, and record... you can also play a blank loop track with the metronome on it, and etc.

Hi,
I wonder whether adding the ability to route the mixer's Preview track to an output bus would be a good feature.

Hmm, as long as it didn’t interfere with anything else, I think some users would like that.

Thanks, I do use the metronome, and get the record/playback/count in features.
Was just hoping to be able to hear it in a mix with sends....
I’ll stick with the work around with a midi track, it works! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it right? LOL
Thanks again guys

The thing with using the preview track is that it would also have the freezing track sound, and loop preview sounds in it.
But it seems like an elegant solution otherwise.

Something I also thought of - what about the ability to route all tracks to the Preview? KInda like an 'all tracks' volume control before they reach the master? Would save having to select all and adjust volumes once mixed.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 2:16 pm Hi,

If not, then the ability to hide the Preview tack from the Mixer window.

Re: Route metronome to a send or track MX9?
My solution for "problem" #1:
I use a recording template with the choice of a couple click tracks already incorporated. Select the preferred one (time sig, preferred emphasized beat, etc.) and go. Metronome is boring to me anyway....
My solution for "problem" #2:
A simple gain plug-in, first insert slot of the master bus.
*I believe it was probably my first feature request upon first use of MX9 in beta, and still exists as a submitted request. I see no need for it to take up valuable screen space personally.
