Mixcraft on Mac

Post by cadi2635 »

Hello,
i am using Mixcraft for ten years on my windows laptop, now my studio will change to Mac, my question is if you will develop a Mixcraft version for Mac?
It would be great if there was a Mac version, otherwise i will need to stop using Mixcraft and change to Abbleton.

i really like mix and mastering on Mixcraft and i want use it if possible, i know it is a hard work to create a Mac version but i am pretty sure that sooner or later you will need to create the mac version to compete with the other DAWs like Abbleton.

thanks :)

I've asked a couple of times and sadly, there are no plans for a Mac version. They say Mac already has Garageband, but we know Mixcraft is much better than that
EDIT: I found this YouTube video - not a techy at all so don't know if this would be a solution? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRnglYg ... production

Use a windows emulator like Parallels, easy to use, rock solid and the standard emulator for Mac. It does cost about $50 I believe.
Virtual box is also good and open source.
No idea how good Wineskin Winery is but it is also free.

hmmm ok....
Mixcraft is much better than garage band, but ok...it looks i will stop using Mixcraft, maybe one day the developers start a mac version, otherwise this DAW with so much good things and very intuitive will always be underrated and with few users compared to others like Ableton.

Thanks for your answers
