OUTPUT FROM MIX9 THRU MG10XU
I just upgraded my interface from and old Mackie to the new Yamaha MG10XU. I have loaded the MG-drivers and they are seen my MIX9. I opened an old project and wanted to add a track.
I see the TRACK labeled as MG10X and the sound goes into the DAW as an additional track.
BUT..during playback or even just trying to dub, I get nothin from the other tracks.
This unit was supposed to be 2IN-2OUT.
I even have IN/OUT sound set to MG10X and I can hear the track live,
But not during playback. I don't hear any of the tracks during playback. Any thoughts?

Also, make sure that the new I/O is set as the default sound device in Windows and that those settings match what you have set up in your I/O and MC.

Re: OUTPUT FROM MIX9 THRU MG10XU
Because it is fast (~0 ms latency) and easy, I use a $20 UCA202 USB audio interface as my playback device when recording analog inputs with my Yamaha MG10xu mixer. I just switch my headphones over to it and tell mixcraft to use it for playback. That and an active USB hub solve a lot if connectivity pains in the studio.
Re: OUTPUT FROM MIX9 THRU MG10XU
Thanks! Can you send me details and connections. I've been bumming some since I begged for the MG10XU and haven't got it working yet. Wife is getting suspicious. Not a genius with PC stuff so pics of INPUT/OUTPUT and playback menu setup boxes would be really great.
Just can't get the sound to monitor speakers yet.
Thanks in advance.

Normal midi stuff:
Yam USB <-> computer (or usb hub)
Midi Controller USB <-> computer (or usb hub)
Yam mixer -> Headphones or monitor
Set Mixcraft (setup) audio In and Out to YAM
When recording analog with low latecy:
Same as above except
Guitar/mic -> Yam mixer
UCA202 audio interface usb <-> computer (or usb hub)
Set Mixcraft (setup) audio In to Yam and Out to UCA202 audio interface
UCA202 audio interface -> Headphones or monitor
Make sure the mixer's USB channel is enabled for USB with the little button and all faders a 12 noon

@gaffster So I have the UCA-202 installed in my USB port on the PC. The MG10XU is also going into the PC with USB.
Odd thing is that the Behringer UCA-202 uses a setup app to install the Behringer driver
In preferences I can select AUDIO IN as YAM or ASIO4ALL v2.
I can select AUDIO OUT as YAM or ASIO4ALL v2
I cannot split the AUDIO IN/OUT to be individual. Its either IN/OUT = YAM or IN/OUT = ASIO4ALL v2.
In the PC i am not sure what to select for INPUT or OUTPUT...
Gaffster? Can you send me a screen grab of your preferences for the MG10XU and for your PC? Please!
Jim

To record on the Yamaha mixer using the UC202 as your monitor, set the mixcraft sound device like this:
The UCA202 is called "USB Audio CODEC" on my PC
Remember when ARMing the track to "Monitor Incoming Audio" and select "MG-XU" as the source

Re: OUTPUT FROM MIX9 THRU MG10XU
It looks the same using the "Wave" driver and also this works. With the ASIO Driver I can't see the UCA202 either however I don't get good results with that driver including a few crashes. I have Windows 11 Home.
Re: OUTPUT FROM MIX9 THRU MG10XU
Thanks, Alot...a whole lot
Do you use the MONITOR L&R (1/4" plugs to RCA) to go into the UCA-202? Then OUTPUT from UCA-202 to monitor speakers. or ANOTHER way?

Re: OUTPUT FROM MIX9 THRU MG10XU
I have used an RCA adapter to go to the studio monitors but usually I just use headphones while recording with live mics because I don't have an isolation booth. It's not ideal to have to switch the monitor while recording but I am all about zero noticeable latency. The Yamaha mixer does seem to have low noise when recording which is nice for such a relatively inexpensive mixer.
Re: OUTPUT FROM MIX9 THRU MG10XU
@gaffster,
I redid the PREFERNCES for MIX9PRO and attached is the snippets I made. I can actually hear the music (all tracks or individually) during playback. Now I face another problem. My input (#4 channel on MG10XU or any other channel doesnt port to Mixcraft on any AUDIO channel.
I can see the MG10-XU input, but I get a fault when ARMING the channel its being sent to.
I really appreciate any help you can give on this.

Hi,
Do they provide an ASIO driver for that unit? Try it in ASIO mode.
Click on the small arrow next to the Arm button on an audio track:
Arming option 1 on the left gives you input 1.
Arming option 1 on the right gives you input 2.
Option 2 on the left is input 3.
Option 2 on the right is input 4.
And so on...

Like Greg says...you have to follow the arrow on arm button and make selections or you will get that warning.
