Device driver conflicts

Post by matran40 »

Mixcraft 10.5, Zedi10 usb mixer, ART Voice Channel, SoundBlaster SB1510, i7-127ooK processor, 32Gb DDR5 ram

I am using the mixer as my main interface for analogue audio input and audio output to the monitors. When I try to use the ART for a mic preamp input, I get no input unless I switch to the dedicated ART driver. I then get an input to the track, but am unable to monitor it because MC no longer recognizes the mixer output. Same thing happens if I try to use the SB dedicated driver as an input; I get no option to use the mixer output to my monitors. I have tried disabling all three dedicated drivers and using ASIO4all, but that doesn't work either. Is there a fix for this, or will these external devices just not work with MC?

Hi,

ASIO mode only supports one audio device as a time, as does WaveRT Exclusive Mode. Make sure that everything is using the same sample rate. Using multiple devices like that creates more latency. Wave mode is generally not preferred, but you could also try that.
