My first mixcraft project ever: Archviz ambience.

Post by juanmanuel »

So, I am more of an archviz guy, with the (long term) goal of learning music theory, composing, and so on.
Anyway, I wanted to spruce up a simple archviz animation I recently made, and of course wanted to see if Mixcraft was up to the job.
It is. And then some.

However..

The video preview window is quite stuttery, and IMHO I have a somewhat beefy desktop computer. That is to say, AMD rx5900x, 128Gb Ram, nvme OS disk, 14tb data disc, AMD rx6800xt graphics card.

So maybe not the most up to date computer, but beefy enough (I think).

Now this is not a comparison or pointing fingers complain etc comment. BUT the video preview in DaVinci Resolve does not stutter. At all. Just saying.
Anyway, for my first time using Mixcraft, I think the result came out pretty well.
In case you wanted to see the end result, I uploaded it to Youtube.

I do want to learn how to pan the audio so it corresponds more to the relative postion of cars, etc as seen in the video, but I have no idea how to. But I am sure it is possible to do in Mixcraft. So my next project will surely turn out even better!
