Hi all, I just had a crash of a project I had just started and was wondering if there's a possibility the files might still exist.
I had programmed
-2 midi drum loops,
-2 guitar wav tracks (4 bars),
- some bass takes that are 4 bars.
So in total like 2 midi files,2 guitar wavs, and a handful of bass wavs (not sure, it crashed as I was recording the part on loop).
So if these files exist, where might I look to import them into a new project? thank you in advance.
File location of unsaved project if still exists?

edit: I think I found the wav file takes here:
C:\Users\<my windows userid>\Documents\Mixcraft Projects\Mixcraft 10 Project 1
Can't seem to locate the 2 drum midi files if they still exist. Perhaps they only existed in the project? Is the drum midi probably lost? thanks

Hi,
Yes, the MIDI is stored in the project. If you can’t open the main project file, check the backup folder inside your project folder to see if there’s a project in there with most or all of the MIDI.

Thanks for reply Greg. Yeah, I hadn't saved yet. I was right at start of idea messing around with a drum midi thing that was kindof cool (I'm not a drummer), felt like cool but unusual weird groove, and had just put down guitar part and started a bass part, but hadn't saved anything yet or named project. I put the basics of the drum part back in and feels right, but lost the essence of a latiny-rock vibe that made me want to retrieve it - couldn't quite figure out what I'd initially done.
I'll remember to hit save next time I do drums like that.

Hi,
Mixcraft 10 has auto-save. Maybe you lucked out?
