Hello all,
Question 1:
In the youtube demo dude mentioned changing voices. Does Mixcraft have voice morphing? Let's say I wanted to make a voice sound like it was coming in over an telephone or an answering machine or walkie talkie. Can mixcraft do this?
I'm currently hacking together these types of voices by using morphvox.. but that's kinda limited. ("kinda" meaning "Very")
Question 2:
Does mixcraft come with all of the loops needed? I remember a friend of mind buying Soundtrack (for his Apple) a while back only to find out he had to go BACK out and purchase the loops to use in Soundtrack. I thought that was a bummer.
Thanks

Hi koan,
1) MC doesn't have voice morphing per se, but you can do a lot with the VST's that come with it. Not much of a problem getting telephone or radio/walkie sounds out of it. You can also shift pitch, etc. Anything too serious, though, and you might have to look at something like Voice Changer Diamond or similar product. I'd think you could most of what you want with the VST's in Mixcraft.
2) "All the loops needed" is pretty wide open. MC comes with a large library that covers a lot of genres, and also a lot of sound effects, but you're going to eventually want other loops. There are quite a few sites out there with free loop downloads. There are plenty in MC to start with, though...

Hi,
To get the telephone sound, add the Acoustica EQ effect to the track and play around with presets like "1960s," "Lo-Fi," "1k notch," "AM Radio" and of course "Telephonic."
You get tons of loops for free. Download Mixcraft and see!
