Being able to make sub groups of tracks?

Post by Stef66 »

I tried the search function but i didnt find anything regarding this.

I was wondering if there is a feature in Mixcraft that permits grouping or sub grouping of definite tracks, for example, you recorded your vocals in a song, got vocals, back vocals on different tracks and you adjusted the respective levels and you dont want it to be messed with anymore but would rather prefer having a "vocals group" where you can adjust a general level within the final mixdown.

Wonder if such a thing can be done in mixcraft or if that is a feature that is in the list of the future features?

There is no buss or subgroup function in Mixcraft 4.

One workaround is to mix down the tracks that you want to buss and then import the new file in place of the ones you mixed. Voilà!

This would be a nice feature to have in Mixcraft. In Acid Pro they call it 'track folders'. Something like this would be a great feature for the next version of Mixcraft...
