I'm trying to upload a .wma file

Sound ==> Add a Sound

Select the .wma file

this message appears in the "Find a Sound" box

"Problem loading MP3! Please send this MP3 to Acoustica so we can analyze why it does not load"

I'ts not an mp3 file to begin with. It's a .wma file. And I have uploaded and installed the .exe file that supposedly enables the program to work with .wma files.

the file was created with an olympus digital voice recorder.

how can i fix this?

Try downloading and installing this patch, which is different than the "WMA support" download.

I have the same issue with .wma sound i have which i have ripped off cds to my computer.

I have the same error msg and i have tried installing the patch to no luck.

It stated that the patch was not installed as i didnt need it as my computer could already play .wma files. and stated that there could be another problem.

this is the exact error message...

" The patch has not been applied. your computer did not need the patch. you could already be ready to use WMAs or there could be another problem."

Is the WMA file copy-protected? Where did you get it? If you like, you can send it to us and we'll check it out.
