follow the bouncing ball lyric

Post by clavguy »

Hi gang.
I am looking for an app that will present the lyrics to a song each word as it is is sung. Sort of like a follow the bouncing ball. But instead of a bouncing ball each word be presented to the the user at its proper time. If there is an app that breaks it down to syllables that would be even better say something like Hap py Birth Day instead of Happy BIrthday.

Cheers

I think you need something like CyberLink PowerDirector or some other video creating software. I may be wrong so I'm watching this thread.

Hi Wreck,
Thanks for looking in to this.
I don't think I need a video creating/editing software but I may be wrong. I am looking for something that I will sync with the song and put the lyrics up on the screen word by word or even syllable by syllable as they are being played so someone can follow.

Cheers

I think you can manually sync text using the MC video editor. Not automatically though

It may be possible to do in Mixcraft using the text options. Maybe a variation of this Karaoke example:

hmmmm... I don't know. I've done very minor video editing using mixcrafts video editor. I believe at the very least you could make each word happen one at a time. You'd have to manage the words on the timeline manually I think

Hi,

For lyric timing, there is a file format LRC which synchronizes song lyrics with an audio file. If Mixcraft can also add in such support, I think it may help get to what you want.

Thanks!

I could also use that if the lyrics were automatically displayed somewhere during playback. A nice suggestion and USP maybe :D
