MP3 CD Burner software Freezes

Whenever I put in a CD-R the program freezes right away and then crashes. It is seeing my DVD-RW drive when I don't have a CD-R in it. But when I have a CD-R in it before I open up the software it says my DVD-RW drive is not compatible even though when I load it up without a CD-R in it doesn't say this.

I can post the error log if that is what is needed.

My system specs

Vista 64-bit ultimate
Intel Quad 9400
8GB Ram
PIONEER DVR110

Try the new beta version of MP3 CD Burner (4.69 build 150 as of this writing).

Switch to the Primo burning engine in the General preferences.

Well that allowed me to get into the program I still can not burn a CD at all. I'm beginning to believe this is a Vista issue.

Hi,

Now try version 4.71. There was a problem with version 4.70 in which a disc in the drive could cause the program to slow down so much, it appeared to "freeze." You can get the latest version of MP3 CD Burner here.

If that doesn't fix the problem, please send us your cdburner-log.txt file, which is located here:

%appdata%\Acoustica\Acoustica MP3 CD Burner\

Submit an Acoustica Support Request to send us the log file.
