Re: Connecting drum pads (digital kit)

Cheers, Mab098157! Glad it worked!

shinythang-yeah, I made that my next spending priority, and that means something when you are broke like me! :D

It seems perfect for me, I don't have a lot of space in my "studio"...and it's just plain cool!

Re: Connecting drum pads (digital kit)

I am pretty sure that shinythang is asking if there is an entry level MIDI drum kit (the actual pads) not asking about VSTis that will work. LOL, Oh, gotcha! I totally missed that! I was focused on the VST aspect! I wish I knew if these ones work without issue...http://aerodrums.com/aerodrums-produ...

Re: Connecting drum pads (digital kit)

Shinythang, Both Mab098157 and I posted entry level kits in the replies above...is there something else you see looking for that is missing? Mab098157's kit is free, the one I mentioned has a free demo version you can try before dropping $50 for the full version. Trust me, I am no tech expert or sof...

Re: Connecting drum pads (digital kit)

I have similar issue with Yamaha dd55 that I have yet to find a solution to. I have been building studio and haven't had a lot of time to experiment. I did find a work around that is pretty consistent. Issue seems to be isolated to certian VST (acoustica drums), but if I use JM-1 (free sim of Linn ...

Re: MIDI hi-hat?

I've got a Yamaha DD55, very similar to your set up. I am no drummer by any means but I do find the DD very helpful in laying down some basic drums tracks. I found that Guitar Hero Drum pedals can easily be swapped out for those little drum buttons for the hihat and bass drum. They are not the same ...

Re: Controlling VST Wah

Thanks Gypsy,
The Sweetwater one looks great, and in my price range! I couldn't remember the names of the wah VST's I have, Coyote was the only one that came to mind when I was away from my computer, I was hoping no one would notice
Thanks!

Re: Mixcraft 7 suggestions?

I was starting composing a new song and I tought of something useful for Mixcraft 7 : A small text editor, only for basic writing (note pad like) that would save and load with the project, with printing options, for when we have important notes to take or sudden new lyrics that we don't want to for...

Re: Mixcraft 7 suggestions?

someone joked about being able to hum a tune in and Mixcraft guesses what the entire production should sound like, but seriously - what about a basic pitch to midi tool? e.g. - you sing in a basic melody and mixcraft converts it to midi ready for editing? you read my mind! Talk about appealing to p...

Re: Controlling VST Wah

Thanks, but unfortunately I can't control the slider in real time when I am playing guitar.I am hoping for an inexpensive real time solution, but if I can't find one, I could certainly use the slider method and add the effect afterwards on my recordings.

Controlling VST Wah

Hey I was wondering how different people controlled the wah effect if you are using a VST Wah like Coyote Wah or others like that.
I am trying to use an effect like that in a way that lets me control the wah in real time. Hopefully without having to spring for an expensive expression pedal!

Re: PLEA, I NEED HELP BADDDDDD

I'd thought that I would mention that I have had the same problem with the tiny little notes from my e-drums not registering on mixcraft. I read all the forum responses and applied them, and they didn't really work. The advice was useful, in diagnosing the problem, unfortunately the best I could com...

Shred Amp Simulator

Hi guys, I just tried out the Shred Amp simulator and I was blown away! The tones are dead on plugged straight into my audio interface...I don't think I will have much use for my real amp! Great job! One suggestion, though. Will you guys be making tones for bass guitar or a bass amp simulator in the...
